One person is dead and at least three people were injured Wednesday night in an explosion at an illegal cannabis operation in White City, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Two people were transported to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland with “severe" burns, JCSO said. On Friday, the sheriff's office confirmed that one of the men later died.
