Top employers to recruit at job fairs in Medford, Grants Pass
At least five dozen companies — including some of Southern Oregon’s largest employers — are hoping to meet new recruits face-to-face at a pair of Rogue Valley job fairs.
Lithia Motors, Harry & David, Amy’s Kitchen and the Rogue Valley Manor are among the more than 50 employers confirmed for a “Back to Work Day” hiring event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at the Rogue Valley Mall, 1600 N. Riverside Ave., Medford.
A Josephine County event, meanwhile, will feature 17 companies that include MasterBrand Cabinets, PlayCraft Systems and Rogue Community College. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at the Bank of America building at 735 S. Sixth St., Grants Pass.
The local job fairs are part of WorkSource Oregon’s “Back to Work Day” events planned at 24 locations across the state. The events seek to encourage applicants to beat the crowds now that extended unemployment benefits related to the pandemic are winding down.
The list of companies searching for workers at the Medford event run the gamut from Chick-fil-A to the Transportation Security Administration, and include a wide variety of industries that touch on everything from auto repair to adult foster care.
